Spotlight on my Favourite TV Show REIGN

Hey!

So I have talked about a author a Book series a movie and now I want to talk about a TV SHOW!

Mary, Francis and Bash! Hot Stuff!
I watch a lot of TV so obviously I have a lot of favorites and even a lot of guilty pleasure shows but One of my most favorites at the moment would have to be REIGN!

This is a sort of retailing and isn't always historically correct of Mary Queen of Scots time in France. She was the only child born oft he King of Scotland and they made a deal with France to marry the prince and sent her off, in the show she is also accompanied by her ladies in waiting which is one oft he reasons why I like the show plus the fact that you have cute princes and nobleman! It was created by STephanie SenGupta and Laurie McCarthy and airs on the CW, it started in 2013 and is on its second season now

A official sort of synopsis

“ The highly fictionalized series follows the early exploits of Mary, Queen of Scots during her years living in France. The first season opens in 1557, with Mary living in French court and awaiting her marriage to Prince Francis, to whom she has been engaged since they were six. Mary has to contend with changing politics and power plays, as well as her burgeoning feelings for Francis and the romantic attentions from Francis' bastard half-brother, Bash. Francis' mother, Catherine de' Medici, secretly tries to prevent the marriage following Nostradamus's confidential prediction that the marriage will lead to Francis' death. The series also follows the affairs of Mary's Scottish handmaidens Kenna, Aylee, Lola and Greer, who are searching for husbands of their own at court.“

The characters are great the actress that plays Mary (Adelaide Kane) is both sensitive but can be a great leader and Queen plus make the hard desicions for her country but follows her heart. The main interests in the first season is Francis the second of france (Toby Regbo) and his bastatd brother Sebastian (Torrance Coombs). It follows these three as they deal with the choices that are left fort hem PLUS they have to deal with Francis’s mother Catherine de’Medici (Megan Follows) and the King Henry the second (Alan van Sprang).
Mary and her ladies (Greer, Lola, Mary, Kenna, Aylee)
I love the way these characters interact and how there story lines are both independent but also mix and interwine to create some serious drama! AND there is even more drama when you add Mary’s ladies in waiting Kenna (Caitlin Stasey), Lola (Anna Popplewell), Greer (Celina Sinden) and Aylee (Jenessa Grant). The show also follows there lives with Mary in France havbing come over from Scotland, but ist great to see they all look after each other and ist great seeing them be friends with Mary but also help her in serious times as well.
King Henry and Queen Catherine! Badasses

I love too how they have so many different actors and actresses from all over the world, English, Canadian, Australian and even from my homeland New Zealand! Plus where they film is so beautiful I love it and makes me want to go there!

You guys should check this out, it is more of a older age show but if anyone has any other favourite shows let me know so I can check them out!

I hope your doing well and have a great day
Peace : )
