Meet Apollo, another teaser from The Power!

Heyo!

So we were given another tiny teaser for the Titan series trailer, I am super excited for this series and the new book The Power which I will be Pre Ordering when I get a chance!

But gosh darn these teasers just make me want more of it! I need me some sneak peeks or something because this world is just so cool! Its got everything I love in a series. This epic world of Gods, there descendants and demigods! but also epic characters with these awesome personalities and put in a couple of epic badass guys and we be good to go!. I Love Seth the main character he has soo many dimensions to his personality and that goes so good with the main girl character Josie who is so down to earth and really relatable.

So here is the teeny trailer of Apollo who I am so excited to see more of and get his back story in this world because he has always been a big part of The Covenant world originally. I'm ready for some badass battles!

Its really close now too, this book comes out on the 23rd of February! so you still got plenty of time to get started in this series and the original series The Covenant. Plus these covers are so awesome for that series too!

HALF-BLOOD
Title: Half-Blood

Author: Jennifer L Armentrout

Series: Covenant #1

Publisher: October 18th 2011 by Spencer Hill Press

Genre: Fantasy/Mythology/YA

Goodreads Synopsis:

"The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi pure bloods have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals--well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures.
Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden. Unfortunately, she's crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn't her biggest problem--staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is.
If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck."

This series started it all for me with Jennifer L armentrout and I still love this series today, it was one of the reasons why I am so excited for the Titan series.
I am hoping for some more teasers soon and then finally the full trailer, these are great books and if you love mythology you will really enjoy these!

Hope your doing well and have a great day

Bad Boy POV's

Hi!

So it seems that the new thing at the moment is companion novels from the main guys point of view, I first heard of this when Stephanie Meyer was going to publish Twilight from Edwards point of view but as a lot of it got leaked she decided not to do it.

But it seems that other authors have been doing this too, a number of great novels have dual point of view such as the Lux, Divisa, and Bound by series. However what I really like is having a full book from there point of view its so awesome to see extra scenes and ones that are super important to the story from there POV. I recently read Sweet Temptation which is pieces from the Sweet Evil Trilogy by Wendy Higgins told by drummer Kaidan Rowe and now I am reading Oblivion by Jennifer L Armentrout, this is a couple of the Lux series books told from main bad boy Daemon Black. Its so cool to see there point of views on situations and to actually get into there head!

SWEET TEMPTATION
Title: Sweet Temptation

Author: Wendy Higgins

Series: The Sweet Evil Trilogy #4

Publisher:  September 8th 2015 by HarperCollins/HarperTeen

Genre: New Adult/Paranormal-Romance

Goodreads Synopsis:

"Bad boy Kaidan Rowe has never wanted for anything—money, popularity, musical talent…hot girls—but seducing them is part of his duty as a Nephilim, slave to the demon Dukes. As the son of the Duke of Lust, Kaidan has learned his father’s ways, becoming a master of passion, a manipulator of chemistry. Disobeying his father would mean certain death. Thankfully for Kaidan, he’s good at his job. And he enjoys it.

Until he meets Anna Whitt—sweet, smart, feisty, and inexplicably good—the one girl seemingly immune to his charms. The daughter of a guardian angel and a fallen one, she has a certain power over him, one that makes him wish for more than he could ever deserve.

Determined to save all the Neph from their dark lives as the influencers of sin, Anna joins forces with Kaidan to overcome the demons’ oppressive ways. In the light of her affections, Kaidan must undergo his toughest test of all, a battle of the heart.

Sensual and swoon worthy, this companion volume to the acclaimed Sweet Evil series from New York Times bestselling author Wendy Higgins, told from the perspective of the irresistibly sexy and mysterious Kaidan Rowe, gives readers revealing insights into his struggle, his intense connection to Anna, and most of all, the true emotions that drive him."

I read this book when it came out, I had it preordered because I was just itching to get more from this series, this book was one of my guilty pleasures and I just loved it! I was exciting to get some key scenes from Kai's POV some of the ones which during the series had made me really mad at him and go "WTF KAI!". But also to see how he grew up in this world, I love the concept of the plot that the sins are on earth and had children that must influence the humans with there specific sin. And come on Kai's dad is the sin of Lust and temptation it interesting to see from his point of view where he loved what he was doing I mean it sounds great for any guy tempt girls! But then Anna comes and to understand and read from his head how everything changed was really enjoyable for me. I will say do read the first part of the series and then read Sweet Temptation just because you will get so much more out of the books and out of the story.

My only criticisms for the book was the fact that it was very chopped and cut to specific scenes that you figured would be in there, I personally would have loved more scenes maybe even well before Anna was introduced to see how Kai's relationships with some of the other characters were developed. And there wasn't a lot from each book either, I know she wanted to just make one with parts from each of the original trilogy but it did leave me wanting just a little more. That being said seeing some of my favourite scenes with him and Anna inside his head was really cool and I know a lot of people don't really like this whole idea of having books from the males POV I like it. It makes the story live on for just a little bit longer. I think Wendy did a great job of being honest to who Kai was, I know it must be hard as even though authors create these characters its still being in a guys head and I was happy with the way Wendy worked that out to stay honest and be still relatable to what guys are really like. Great book and so happy to see that end scene from his POV, got a bit misty! #ISigh4Kai

OBLIVION
Title: Oblivion

Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout

Series: Lux Series #1.5

Publisher: December 1st 2015 by Entangled Teen

Genre: New Adult/Science Fiction

Goodreads Synopsis:

"I knew the moment Katy Swartz moved in next door, there was going to be trouble. Lots of it.

And trouble’s the last thing I need, since I’m not exactly from around here. My people arrived on Earth from Lux, a planet thirteen billion light years away. Plus, if there’s one thing I know, it’s that humans can’t be trusted. We scare them. We can do things they only dream about, and honestly, we make them look weak as hell. ‘Cuz they are.

But Kat is getting to me in ways no one else has, and I can't stop myself from wanting her—or wanting to use my powers to protect her. She makes me weak, and I’m the strongest of our kind, tasked with protecting us all. So this one simple girl…she can mean the end for us. Because the Luxen have an even bigger enemy—the Arum, and I need to stay on my game.

Falling for Katy—a human—won't just place her in danger. It could get us all killed, and that’s one thing I’ll never let happen..."

This book depends on how you buy it, if you want a paperback version then you just get Oblivion, HOWEVER if you are like me and get the kindle edition not only do you get Oblivion from Daemons POV but you also get Onyx and Opal as well!. I was excited to get back into this series, it was my first alien book and I LOVED the character of Daemon. He is just that classic jackass that you hate but love all at the same time and what was great about Oblivion was the fact that you got to see why he did what he did. Why he acted and treated Katy the way he did, I mean it was obvious in parts of the first few books from Katy's POV but I liked to see in his head and it was great for me to compare Daemon with Kai having read these after each other.

I really enjoyed Oblivion it was like the full book and those scenes where they just had the best banter between Kat and Daemon from inside his head just made me fall in love with this character even more! He is such a strong character and seeing what he has been through and how he is trying to protect his family it was great to actually watch him change once Kat was in there life and it was a massive change. Plus I love how much it was classic guy, I mean I have read The first book in the Titan series which is told from a guys POV as well and Jennifer girl you know what your doing! She has a way of writing them so they keep there classic male strength and toughness that is common with guys but plants these seeds of the sensitive guy because all guys have that inside them. I loved to see the relationships between Daemon and the other guys like Andrew and Adam plus with his sister which I don't think was always portrayed as strongly in Kat's story. I do like Oblivion the most as I found when you went to onyx which was still good I felt like you lost a lot more.

The issue sometimes with writing a POV from another characters story is that the original story is not all about them and this series isn't all about Daemon at the beginning so as I read Onyx and Opal they were a lot smaller as Daemon takes on this different role. I  did like seeing the different role but the only thing is I just wanted more of the interactions between Daemon and his friends. But dayum that book was big enough I don't think it could have been any bigger! Still loved it and after finishing Opal from Daemons POV just made me want to finish out the series all over again!. #SexyDaemon

So far I really like the guy POV, but I would love to read more! I love these 2 series which I think helped me love these books even more I recommend them if you haven't read them already!

Love my ! Today!
Hope your doing well and have a great day
Peace : )
