My TBR of series

Hey!

So I'm getting really bad at adding books to my I want to read that now books! and that means I keep having to buy the next in the series!

I want to now list the some of the SERIES I have on my TBR

R.K RYALS SERIES

First lets start with the biggest collection which is the Redemption series and its 2 companion series Acropolis and Thorne Trilogy! I have read the first 3 books in the redemption series (Redemption, Ransom, and Retribution) I have also read the first 2 in the Acropolis series (Acropolis and Labyrinth) and started the Thorne Trilogy with Cursed (Then Possession and Dancing with the Devil)

I really love these books cause they are about so much and each develops of each  class, I think that's the best way to put it I mean you put Gargoyles, Demons, Nephalim and witches you are going to have a epic party full of action drama and romance! I will note that the Thorne trilogy is a New adult novel so not for the younger reader and follows witches the most. Acropolis is more about Gargoyles with demon themes which all of them seem to have! Redemption is angels and demons and Nephalim which is always a great combination in my book. I'm a fan of demon books. I like if you like paranormal and some adventure these series are a good one to pick up and I am reading them in publication order so I don't ruin too much which I think is the best idea but I think you can read each by themselves. I will say you need to like a romance type of book for these series as it is a very important part, I mean you can tell from the covers... Sorry girl I love your books not not really the covers

Official Goodreads synopsis of Redemption, the first in Dayton's:

"A fateful car accident, a strange Abbey ruled by an even stranger Abbess, an insane Demon, a world where right and wrong becomes dangerously twisted, and a confident, rebellious teenager . . . .

Dayton Blainey is a foul-mouthed, grief-stricken young woman forced to live with a religiously eccentric aunt who favors her moral older sister. But when Dayton's life becomes intertwined with a dangerous stranger, she suddenly finds herself at the center of a war fought since the beginning of time.
Trapped between what she believes is right, and a forbidden attraction, Dayton must come to terms with betrayal and her surprising lineage to stop a war before it even begins. "

Official Goodreads synopsis of Acropolis, the first in Connor's story:

""We have a new assignment for you, Mr. Reinhardt."

These words are not comforting to me. At eighteen, I am a gargoyle who has been demoted because I broke the rules. Now I have a new mission, a new mark to protect. But I don't expect Emma Chase. I don't expect to question my own race. I don't expect to care for my own mark. And I am not prepared for what I find at The Acropolis"

Official Goodreads synopsis of Cursed, the first in Monroe's story:

"A grimoire. A witch. A Demon.

Ellie Elizabeth Jacobs, often known as Monroe due to her fascination with vintage attire and old movies, is an 18 year-old witch and a darned good one! But there is also something very wrong with her. Demonic energy makes her powers stronger, she has the ability to ward off Demons, and Lucifer wants her.

Sometimes being bad is better. Or at least that's how Luther "Thorne" Craig feels. The hybrid Demon son of the cursed Cain and the Demon Lilith, Luther is reluctantly sent to New Orleans, Louisiana by his brother, the hybrid Demon ruler of the Outer Levels of Hell, to protect Monroe from Lucifer's searching Hellhounds.

But what happens when things go wrong?
In this riveting spin off from R.K. Ryals' Redemption series, Monroe is faced with an old grimoire, an ancient curse, and a journey to discover a family secret that may surprise them all."

THE RAVEN BOYS

Another series that I am working on is The Raven boys by Maggie Stiefvater, now this series is so awesome the writing is just so great! I love the way she makes the story at at first I had no clue what was going on but I liked that, I would totally recommend going into these books not knowing exactly what they are about because exploring that is so amazing and eye opening. One of my favourite sections is at the beginning of Dream Thieves, the second book, where it talks about secrets and that light bulb just went off in my head and I was like yes exactly!. The characters are great and funny yet so different from what I normally read it has been a breath of fresh air reading this series and I can't wait to move on to the next book

Official Goodreads synopsis of The Raven Boys, the first in the quartet

"“There are only two reasons a non-seer would see a spirit on St. Mark’s Eve,” Neeve said. “Either you’re his true love . . . or you killed him.”

It is freezing in the churchyard, even before the dead arrive.

Every year, Blue Sargent stands next to her clairvoyant mother as the soon-to-be dead walk past. Blue herself never sees them—not until this year, when a boy emerges from the dark and speaks directly to her.

His name is Gansey, and Blue soon discovers that he is a rich student at Aglionby, the local private school. Blue has a policy of staying away from Aglionby boys. Known as Raven Boys, they can only mean trouble.

But Blue is drawn to Gansey, in a way she can't entirely explain. He has it all—family money, good looks, devoted friends—but he’s looking for much more than that. He is on a quest that has encompassed three other Raven Boys: Adam, the scholarship student who resents all the privilege around him; Ronan, the fierce soul who ranges from anger to despair; and Noah, the taciturn watcher of the four, who notices many things but says very little.

For as long as she can remember, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love to die. She never thought this would be a problem. But now, as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she’s not so sure anymore."

I will be doing a new blog on the book series I hope to start and stand alones that are on my TBR soon, so stay tuned for that!

Hope you are doing well and have a great day!
Peace : )
